Description
Natural hair single braids (or box braids) involve creating small, individual sections of hair, weaving three or more strands together to form a plaited, or braided, structure. In contrast, natural hair twists use only two strands of hair, twisting them around each other from the root to the tip to create a rope-like style.
Both are considered protective styles that manipulate natural hair without chemicals and extensions, and while braids are more complex and longer-lasting, twists are quicker to install and remove.
